Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is a Greenfield Industrial Smart City Planned and located approximately 100 km South West of Ahmedabad.
Spanning approximately 920 Sqkm, encompassing 22 villages of the Dholera Taluka in the District of Ahmedabad, is envisaged to be Bigger than the city of Ahmedabad. It is strategically located between the Industrial cities of Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. It is Part of the Prestigious Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) Project.

Tata Renewable and Tata Semiconductor have finalized the Dholera Special Investment Region near Ahmedabad city in Gujarat to set up a plan, a senior official of the state government said.
It will span a total area of 2,937 sq km and accommodate a population of 1.1 million people. The entire project is estimated to cost Rs 1 lakh crore ($14 billion) Dholera Smart City will be developed by the Gujarat State Government in partnership with companies from other countries.

Pipavav is the closest port to DSIR, which is approximately 200 km away Pipavav has a range of cargo handling capabilities such as Container, Bulk, Capital Goods, Liquid, Gas, etc. DSIR is also well connected to the major ports of Mundra and Kandla
Proposed Dholera International Airport will be located in close proximity to the Northern boundary of DSIR Environment Clearance from MoEF and site clearance from MoCA have been obtained for developing an International Airport at Dholera Bhavnagar Domestic Airport and Ahmedabad International Airport are 2 hours from DSIR

ABCD Building is Administration Cum Business Center for Dholera, It’s the Central admin office of Dholera Greenfield Smart city.
